ABOUT
Brett Langefels is a national Emmy and Promax Award winning editor with a passion for connecting and collaborating to infuse your vision with creativity through music, cinematic shot selection and organic sound design.
Flying solo or leading teams on campaigns, Langefels carefully watches over all aspects of the post-production process to deliver award winning projects.
My mission as an editor is to give the viewer an authentic emotional experience. It doesn't matter what kind of project: Long, short, fast, slow, dramatic, action packed...the tempo and feel of the piece has to match the story in just the right way, so the viewer never questions its validity. Thus, they remain transfixed. And in that state, I carry them through the valley of trials and tribulations. Then, lift them up to the pinnacle, where they celebrate with the characters or with the athletes. And in the end, I want them to feel satisfied that what they experienced was worthy of their time, their intellect, and their emotional investment. So much so, that they want more! More, because they were cared for in a way that they now trust the next experience will be just as enjoyable. And they look forward to it.
